Yes, many photographers use FullFrame lenses on crop sensors, for two reasons: longer focal lenses and better lenses quality build. The APSC lenses selection is limited, and deserve better.
Absolutely true – the camera and lens are just tools in someone’s hands. We can all pick up a pencil but we can’t all draw beautifully. But if a FF mirrorless has significantly better quality in the finished product and is comparable/cheaper in price to current DSLR FF cameras, of course people will be interested.
Matthew has won 38 ACS Awards and in 2016 he won the Award for Best Cinematography at the 21st Asian Television Awards.
No word on autofocus? I think autofocus (stills AND video) might be the big make-or-break feature for this camera, as that’s where Canon and Sony have been making the most rapid progress. It’s hard for people to take a big step back from dual-pixel autofocus, even with cost-savings, 10bit 4:2:2, 4K 60p, better sensor etc. to make up for it.
“At the end of the day, we were able to install the filtration system faster and more easily, meaning residents could sooner enjoy the benefits of clean water,” Moore said.
I’m sorta confused what they are gonna do with the ef-m? If they make that their aps-c mount they have made a mistake. Most people I know with full frame started with aps-c and when they realized they liked photography enough to actually invest money in it started buying full frame lenses. Eventually they move up to full frame and already have a couple lenses for it. Anyone buying into the ef-m will need to buy everything new if they want to move up to full frame but who is to say they stick with Canon? Maybe they like Nikon’s offerings or what Sony has to offer. They will have to buy all new lenses anyways so they are dont have any incentive to stick with Canon. If Canon decides to make a crop camera for the new mount what happens with the ef-m? Did they design the ef-m such a long time ago that they didnt think of future proofing it? Canon’s biggest thing they have had is brand loyalty but I can see that going away slowly if they dont make big moves.
The full-frame mirrorless segment is currently owned by Sony’s A series thanks to a several-year head start. But Nikon has just jumped in with its Z series and Canon’s EOS R full-frame mirrorless announcement is rumored to be imminent. However, Panasonic has been innovating a lot in the mirrorless space and working it for a lot longer than either Nikon or Canon, so it would be very interesting to see what kind of developments it brings to the format.

“It’s really great to get jobs done quickly so workers can get to the next installation or go home,” Moore said. “The more important thing, however, is that it’s much safer when workers spend less time in the ditch.”
Users receive the Lectric Drive preassembled and completely ready for installation. Locarno explains that not only does the Lectric drive eliminate the C-flange adaptor and shaft coupling but it eliminates the time and skill needed to align the shaft coupling. The electric motor mounts and aligns properly to the pump drive, reducing setup time.
