Not only has Panasonic partnered with Leica to make the S1 and S1R, but Sigma is also crashing the party (well more like they are bringing the cake). Leica Camera AG, Panasonic, and Sigma have teamed up to create a strategic partnership called the “L-Mount Alliance“. This alliance allows Panasonic and Sigma to use the L-mount standard developed by Leica for their own developments and create cameras and optics with this lens mount. This is a big deal for the L-Mount moving forward. By getting three major companies to support it, the L mount is likely to become more accepted and more widely used. If Sigma can bring out a wide range of L mount lenses by the time the new Panasonic cameras become available, it will help push sales. It also means that hopefully, products from all three brands will become cross-compatible.
The market can be segmented into UPVC, CPVC, HDPE, LDPE, PPR, PPH pipes and fittings and others. Of these, UPVC has accounted for the highest revenue share, followed by HDPE pipes and fittings. The primary growth drivers for the market have been growing sanitation and agriculture sectors in India. The market is at its early growth stage with a large number of organized and unorganized players competing for a share in the market. The market grew at a double digit growth rate during FY’2013 – FY’2018. The primary growth drivers of the PVC pipes and fittings market in India have been rising government investments in irrigation, housing and sanitation through schemes such as Housing for All, AMRUT and PMKSY.
With Leica, Panasonic, and Sigma teaming up, it’s clear that they are serious about trying to get a very strong foothold in the mirrorless camera market. Sony has dominated the mirrorless market for so long, and with Nikon and Canon choosing to go it alone, leveraging the technologies from three companies makes a lot of sense. Is it a case of too little too late? That’s a hard question to answer. As they say, the proof is in the pudding. If these new Panasonic cameras can outperform their competition they may well force current Sony users to switch over.
To ensure a lens’ ability to focus to infinity, the flange distance needs to be greater than the depth of the camera body. In this case, since Yongnuo has announced the YN450 is a micro four thirds camera – which typically have a flange distance of 19.25mm – it could potentially mean the new camera body might be rather hefty for this type of system if it is to accommodate for the lens, the adaptor and the on-board circuitry.
Thanks for that explanation, as well as the courtesy. That was the point behind the initial question. It looked to me, from the article, that the entire rearward assembly, starting at the hinge, was what was being provided. I didn’t think that a hinge alone would cost $220.
The water department in Fountain serves approximately 27,000 customers, 80% of whom are residential. The water infrastructure is made up of approximately 682,000 ft of pipe comprised of water mains measuring 2 to 24 in. of PVC (80% of the system), ductile iron (15%) and asbestos cement pipe (5%).

The nitrile Grade T Type A gasket can be specified for a wide range of services, eliminating the need to use multiple types of gaskets for different applications and simplifying gasket selection. The gaskets may be used in Class I, II and III piping systems outside boiler rooms in accordance with Table 7 IACS UR P2. Applications include open-ended piping containing flammable liquids heated above flash point, open-ended liquefied gas, flammable liquids below flash point, sea water, fresh water, sanitary/drains/scuppers, sounding/vent, air and other systems.
We found this problem a couple of years ago (it’s in a YT video). It happens with both the Metabones and Sigma (mostly towards the corners). It starts around 20mm or so and gets worse as you get wider. Maybe it’s because the Sony E-mount is narrower than Canon and the light from superwides enters at a very steep angle.

Nikon has revealed its lens roadmap for the Z Series over the next few years. After the three lenses launching this year, Nikon is planning to release six lenses in 2019: the 58mm f/0.95, a 20mm f/1.8, an 85mm f/1.8, a 24-70mm f/2.8, a 70-200mm f/2.8, and a 14-30mm f/4. Then there are three lenses scheduled for 2020: a 50mm f/1.2, a 24mm f/1.8, and a 14-24mm f/2.8.
The news was broken by 43rumors, which gives it an "FT5" probability rating — its highest level. And it comes after similarly high-probability rumors in July (which I missed) of a high-end Olympus model with a new sensor format. Since Olympus is also a Four Thirds company, it’s pretty compelling evidence for a new-size sensor.
