The Flint crisis took on national prominence and shame, prompting Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette to file criminal charges against members of Gov. Rick Snyder’s administration, including involuntary manslaughter, and water regulators with the state’s Department of Environmental Quality. Two emergency managers appointed by Snyder have also been criminally charged.

By comparison, the city of Lansing took 12 years and $44.3 million to replace its more than 12,000 lead service lines. In 2016, Lansing joined Madison, Wisconsin, as the only cities in the United States to completely replace their lead pipelines.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Some residents at a Lynchburg retirement community have been without hot water for several days.

Leaks and burst pipes occur when the products are wrongly selected or incorrectly installed. It’s essential to not only do the correct calculation but seek expert advice about the products you are purchasing to ensure appropriateness. Calculating for the right type of pipe can ensure an efficient plumbing system. Poor calculation can result in low water pressures, as each pipe has different rates of friction and loss based on its surface. It is also key that each pipe should be appropriate for the purpose. For example, uPVC drainage materials shouldn’t be used for water hotter than 79 degrees – should these pipes be applied in this situation, it could result in serious leakage or burst pipes.

They certainly can, and I would be one of the Canon fan boys to switch. Corporations selling legacy products typically are super protective of their products and accessories. I assume third party lens manufactures are the reason that Nikon wouldn’t want to give out their secret sauce. It’s just like with refrigerators, the most profit comes from selling a dollar charcoal filter for 50 bucks 20 times over the life of the refrigerator.

I guess that does change things, but don’t these things get reverse engineered by third party lens manufacturers? Has anybody heard from Sigma about the new lens mounts on Canon and Nikon?
